What’s Working for Young People Conference



Sticks & Stones’ founder Patricia Kennedy will be presenting “Let’s Get Creative about How We Challenge Bullying” at the What’s Working for Young People Conference Thursday 27th March 2014.


This is a two day conference that will see some of the most accomplished experts in the field of youth development, from policy, practice and research backgrounds, come together to explore the most effective and innovative ways of working with young people.

Who Should Attend? 

This conference is aimed at academics and policy makers with an interest in youth development and adolescence, as well as youth work professionals. The content will appeal to an international audience.

Conference Committee

This conference is being organised by a co-operative of organisations and institutions, all of whom are committed to changing the status quo for young people. These include Foróige, the lead partner, along with The National University of Ireland, Galway; The Atlantic Philanthropies; The National Youth Council of Ireland; The Department of Children and Youth Affairs; The Centre for Effective Services and Archways.
